Context of the Project

For over thirty years, the Menikini Group has been producing and marketing a wide range of cleaning and sanitizing products and applications in both commercial and industrial applications. Menikini Group products clean and sanitize without the use of chemical detergents or fragrances, using the power of dry saturated steam.

Menikini products are sold worldwide through an extensive network of local distributors and agents.

The company needed a user-friendly extranet portal to enable its distributors to independently and securely order spare parts for Menikini Group products.

Implemented modules

Odoo E-Commerce
Two fully custom Odoo modules have been developed to manage BOMs of various machines and to manage Official Resellers.
An ad hoc wizard was also developed for importing BOMs of machinery via a CSV file with predefined record layout.

What has been done

After an analysis phase, we implemented the workflows by customizing the Odoo platform, based on the directives of our SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) contact person, defined with the client at the beginning of the project. There was then a phase of testing the customizations developed and implementing the necessary changes. In order to be always aligned with the client, we organized weekly or biweekly alignment calls on the progress of the work.

Achievements

Thanks to Odoo and the custom modules we developed, the Menikini Group now has a single platform for loading, managing and editing BOMs.
Distributors can easily access the portal to search and order the parts they need.
